Sky’s the Limit Observatory and Nature Center in Twentynine Palms will hold a star party Saturday, December 23, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Many spectacular cosmic sights are visible during this time of year, from the first quarter crescent moon to the vibrant deep orange Garnet Star. Over 100 stars will be visible, including the Seven Sisters. This free public event is located on Utah Trail, just north of the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
