The Joshua Tree Summer Theatre Under The Stars live outdoor performance series continues this weekend with the story of an egotistical roman soldier. Entertainment Reporter Charlie Thomas sharpens his spear…

With two critically acclaimed productions under their belts, the Joshua Tree Theatre Under The Stars series continues with “Miles Gloriosus”, under the direction and adaptation of Wendy Cohen from the classical Roman plays of Maccius Plautus.  Miles Gloriosus is an obnoxious, egotistical soldier who thinks he is universally revered.  Really, everyone despises him.  When Miles kidnaps a young woman on a whim, his slave, Callidus, launches a scheme to rescue the girl, free himself and destroy Miles reputation.  Featuring Malcolm Stanley-Wolfe, Aidan Bosworth, Lloyd Schlitts and Wendy Cohen. This production runs July 23 – August 1 at 8:15 p.m. For tickets, go online to www.windwalkersmedicinewheel.com or call 626-233-4768.
