The Morongo Basin’s largest Fourth of July fireworks show will be held in Twentynine Palms at Luckie Park. The Luckie Park pool will be open 1 to 5 p.m., and again from 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be a children’s area with water slides and a bounce house. The local band Desert Sol will perform Motown hits, R&B, and patriotic songs starting at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverage vendors will open their booths at 6 p.m. Z107.7 will play music throughout the afternoon. Z107.7 will broadcast the patriotic music the fireworks are coordinated to live on the air. Those watching the fireworks from outside the park and in their cars can just tune in Z107.7 and be able to get the full effect of the fireworks set to music. The fireworks and broadcast start at 9 p.m.
