Celebrate Independence Day with a free fireworks spectacular and summer concert. The Town of Yucca Valley kicks off its annual summer music festival with a very special presentation on the Fourth of July. Gates open at 6 p.m. at Brehm park. The 6:30 concert will feature “Fortunate Son,” a Credence Clearwater Revival tribute band. Enjoy plenty of food vendors, free face painting and giveaways. Fireworks will light up the desert sky at 9 p.m. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, even a picnic. Please no pets or alcohol at this evening of family fun, music and fireworks.
The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center will host this year’s Twentynine Palms July 4 th celebration with a free spectacular firework show at Victory Field. Bring the whole family to enjoy the show and the live music, balloon artists, face painters, obstacle courses, inflatable games, water attractions, and food and beer concessions. It’s 3 p.m. on Independence Day. You’ve packed your chair or blanket, sun screen, refillable water bottle, and valid ID. Active duty personnel, family members, retirees and DoD employees with base access should head to either the Condor or Ocotillo gates. Everyone else should go to the Main
Gate on Adobe Road. But no matter which gate you use, everyone will be searched, so leave the following items at home: weapons and fireworks of any kind including sparklers, outside food and drinks, glass containers, controlled substances including marijuana, tents and shading over four feet
high, grills, drones, professional cameras with removable lenses, laser pointers, chem or strobe lights, noisemakers, professional video or audio
recording devices, bags and backpacks larger than 12×12 inches. Pets and animals except registered service animals are also prohibited.
Wednesday’s July 4th Celebration will be popular; carpooling and early arrival are recommended.
