FIREWORKS JULY 3 IN LANDERS, JULY 4 IN YUCCA VALLEY AND TWENTYNINE PALMS

Get warmed up for the Fourth of July fireworks by going to see the Third of July fireworks in Landers. The fireworks will be held at Homestead Valley Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Preferred parking is $5. No outside food or beverages are allowed. The opening ceremonies begin at 7:30 with a Marine color guard; a Marine static display will also be at the park. Entertainment will be provided by the Big Fat Steve Band and Henry Fencepost, direct from the Calico Ghost Town.

The Rotary Club Fireworks show in Yucca Valley this year will see a wide variety of family activities and entertainment. Plan to be at Brehm Sports Park on the Fourth of July for the show and the fun. The event will have food, children’s activities, vendors, booths, and more. The entertainment, emceed by Z107.7 personality Pat Michaels, will include a special performance by local singer, Kristina Quigley. Activities for kids include water activities. The Yucca Valley Fourth of July event starts at 6 p.m. at the Brehm Youth Sports Park at Little League Drive in Yucca Valley. For more information on the event, call 760-365-1988.

The City of Twentynine Palms will once again host an Independence Day celebration. Come out to Luckie Park for this free family-friendly event on Friday, July 4, beginning at 5 p.m. Celebrate our country’s freedom with Sam Smith and the Z107.7 Mobile DJ, food, retail vendors, kid’s games and activities, ice cold beer, and good old-fashioned family fun. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy live music with Rodeo Revival and the fireworks spectacular lights off at 9 p.m.
