The Town of Yucca Valley summer music festival will kick off the season with a Fourth of July concert and fireworks event at Brehm Park, then continue with Saturday concerts at the Yucca Valley Community Center from July 13 through August 10. The July 4th concert and fireworks spectacular at Brehm Park will feature patriotic-themed decorations and giveaways; live music featuring a Journey tribute band, Escape; complimentary face painting by Miss Yucca Valley and her court, Presentation of Colors by the Young Marines, and food vendors. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the show. Coolers and picnicking are welcome but alcohol is not; leave it at home. Fireworks are no fun for pets, so leave your furry friends at home. Brehm Park is located at 56620 Little League Drive in Yucca Valley. All ages are welcome and admission is free.
