FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO LANDERS CRASH TO FIND NO FIRE AND NO OCCUPANTS

Firefighters and deputies are investigating a crash early Sunday morning in Landers. Firefighters were called on a report of a vehicle into a power pole on Reche Road and Golden Slipper at 12:23 a.m., and the pole was on fire. County Fire Battalion Chief Bob Evans said crews arrived to find the crashed vehicle, but there was no fire and the occupants of the vehicle were nowhere to be found.
