A body was found during a fire in Yucca Valley Monday night. County Fire Battalion Chief Donnie Viloria said that firefighters were called to the house fire in the 7700 block of Bannock Trail at 11:18 p.m. by the son of the residents. Viloria said the son told them that his father was believed to still be inside the home. Firefighters went into a firefighting and rescue mode and found the body inside. Viloria said the home is still standing but the interior was gutted by the blaze. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating.
