Firefighters will be escorting Santa through Joshua Tree neighborhoods tonight, Wednesday, December 21, and Thursday, December 22, and Friday, December 23. Starting about 5:30 p.m. each night, residents should listen for sirens and come outside and say hello to Santa, who’ll be handing out candy canes as he passes through neighborhoods. Tonight, Santa will make his way through South Joshua Tree, on the paved roads south of Alta Loma and neighborhoods west of Friendly Hills. On Thursday, he’ll come to neighborhoods in central Joshua Tree, paved roads between Highway 62 and Alta Loma, east and north of Friendly Hills. And on Friday, Santa will visit North Joshua Tree on paved roads north of the highway and west of Border Avenue.
