The Morongo Valley Community Services District Board of Directors has called a special meeting tonight (March 7) to address needed repairs for a fire engine. At last month’s special meeting, the board of directors was notified that one of the Morongo Valley Fire Department’s fire engines may have an engine issue. The board voted to seek repair estimates for the fire engine, and also voted to rent a replacement fire engine while the possibly damaged engine was being diagnosed. The board is expected to receive an update on repair estimates tonight. Also, the board of directors will conference with legal counsel regarding two cases of anticipated litigation in a closed session.
