Firefighting is one of the most dangerous careers in the world, but it can also be the greatest. A firefighting career can start whenever you decide, but for some, they just can’t wait. There is a program for young people who want a taste of firefighting. This is the Explorer Program. According to Engineer Lee Martin of the Twentynine Palms Fire Department, the new recruits who join will be able to train with those same men and women who go to the fire and save the lives of many. They are expected to be able to learn something and hopefully move forward in the fire service. There are no specific trainings because everything is well rounded so that you could be prepared for anything. The worst thing about being the Explorer Advisor is the explorers leaving and moving on. The trainings focus on your proficiency and skill in the different scenarios.
