fire-picSix fire engines and two ambulances were dispatched to a Yucca Valley home fully engulfed in flames about 9:40 a.m. Friday. Scott Tuttle, a battalion chief with the San Bernardino County Fire Dept., said one person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The two-story home, roughly at Nelson and Avalon Avenues, is on the north side of Highway 62 across from Wal Mart. A resident said the fire may have been started by a burning cigarette, though that has not been confirmed.
