A Yucca Mesa man is without a home after a fire this morning. County Fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle said Yucca Mesa, Yucca Valley, and Joshua Tree firefighters were called to the 56900 block of Campanula Street in Yucca Valley at 5:40 a.m. The house was fully involved with flames when firefighters arrived. Tuttle said that while the house is still standing, it is a complete loss. It’s not known yet where the fire or how the fire started. Firefighters had the blaze knocked down in about 30 minutes. There were no injuries to the occupant, animals, or firefighters.
