The Hi-Desert Nature Museum continues their popular education program, Science Saturdays, with the exciting topic of electricity on August 17. Starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m., this program is designed ignite curiosity in school age children by presenting interesting facts on common topics. This Saturday, join Museum Educator Crystal Mason and find answers to fun electrical questions such as, “Why do I create a spark after rubbing my shoes on the carpet?” or “What do you mean I cannot get into the swimming pool during a lightning storm?” This program is free and no pre-registration is required.
