This is the final week to provide feedback for San Bernardino County’s Mental Health Services Act three-year plan, which seeks to strengthen mental health services using tax money.
The county’s plan, which focuses on de-stigmatizing mental health issues, strengthening the county’s detection and response to potential suicide, and providing more services to Native American Communities, is available online for review.
These services are funded through the state’s Mental Health Services Act, voted on in 2004, and funded through a 1% tax on adjusted annual income over $1 million.
