La Matadora art gallery is hosting its final weekend pop-up art show of their summer series. “Inherited Subconscious,” featuring massive art works by artist Simone Alexia, will be on display this weekend only (August 4-9). An artist reception is scheduled for Saturday (August 7) from 4-9 p.m. with Live music by Ryan David Mussen beginning at 7:30 p.m. The gallery is located at 61857 Twentynine Palms Hwy. in Joshua Tree.
