FINAL PERFORMANCES FOR “ONCE UPON A MATTRESS” THIS WEEKEND AT THEATRE 29

It’s the final weekend for the musical comedy “Once Upon A Mattress” at Theatre 29. Reporter Rebecca Havely says both theater veterans and newcomers are in the show…

“Once Upon A Mattress,” directed by Theatre 29 veteran Kathryn Ferguson, is the musical comedy retelling of the classic fairy tale of the Princess and the Pea. The quirky Princess Winnifred will be played by Kylie Robinson, and her Prince by Noah Wahlberg. His royal parents will be played by Kelly Ebsary and Cruz Jimenez. Robert Ames will play the Wizard; Kevin Myers the Jester; and Charles Harvey is the Minstrel. Newcomers Natalie Stokes and John Pollnow will play star-crossed lovers. Ensemble members include Ariel Montes, Anna Pollnow, Adonai Patu, Ethan Flores, Anna Alkire, Katelyn Coleman, Cathy Inscore, Anna Carnes, Ethan Woolever, Jocelyn Gonzalez and Josiah Ruiz. This musical comedy is great fun for the whole family. Tickets are still available for “Once Upon A Mattress” tonight at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $15 and are available at theatre29.org or by calling the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151.
