FINAL LINE-UP FOR THIS WEEKEND’S “TASTE OF MORONGO”

Come hungry to the ninth annual Taste of Morongo this Saturday, September 10, starting at 6 p.m. at the Bell Center at Copper Mountain College. Taste the cuisine from 13 local restaurants: 2 Guys’ Pies, Cali Greens, Middle Eastern Restaurant, Park Rock Café, Bistro 29, Papa’s Smokehouse, Cool Daddy-O’s, 29 Palms Inn, Willie Boy’s, Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen, The Roost at Hawk’s Landing, Frontier Café, and Joshua Tree Coffee Company. In addition to great food, there will be live music by On Tapp, and raffles. Tickets are $20 and are available at the Z107.7 studio in Joshua Tree, the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce, ArtFx and Furnishings, and Guys and Dolls in Yucca Valley, and the Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce through Thursday, September 8. Tickets will also be available at the door. Proceeds benefit high school scholarships and community service projects.
