Herbalist and wellness consultant Charla Shamhart will present the final class in her four-part class series on the home natural medicine chest and emergency medical kit. During this class, Shamhart will discuss nutraceuticals—natural substances that have been concentrated from herbs and foods to make them function more like medicines rather than foods. The class will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rainbow Stew, 55509 Twentynine Palms Highway in Old Town Yucca Valley. While there is no set fee for the class, there is a suggested donation of $10.
