FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN FOR YUCCA VALLEY TROJANS AS THEY BEAT DESERT MIRAGE, 38-22

The Yucca Valley High School Trojan football team won its game against Desert Mirage High School, 38-22 Friday night, the fifth straight win for the Trojans. Coach JD Thompson said Yucca Valley had three touchdowns called back due to penalties, which kept the game close into the fourth quarter. 

Braden Brimhall threw for three touchdowns on 11-18 passing. Caleb Robinson added 169 yds and three touchdowns on the ground. Albert Montes Reyes had five catches and two touchdowns and an interception on defense.

The Trojan defense continued its tough play, getting decisive stops when needed to secure the victory.
