Fiber takes on many intriguing forms this November at Gallery 62 in downtown Joshua Tree, with November’s exhibit “Uncommon Threads.” The show weaves together a wonderful array of fantastic fiber-based work from local artisans including Patty Domay, Kathi Klopfenstein, Karen Mortensen, Joanna Szachowska, Tobi Toboada and Nikki Verbitsky. In the Signature Room, fabulous clothing by Lauri Shafer and Anja Broenink will be on display and ready to try on. Gallery hours are Fridays noon to 3, Saturdays 9 to 3, and Sundays noon to three, and by appointment. The show will run from Friday, November 2 through Sunday November 25. An artists’ reception is set for Saturday, November 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. Gallery 62 is located at 60167 29 Palms Highway in downtown Joshua Tree.
