The Sheriff’s Department has released more information about a Yucca Valley woman who was arrested last week, accused of child endangerment. Jacqueline Noonan, 40, who is on probation for a prior narcotics conviction, was sitting in her car in the 7300 block of Dumosa   Avenue about 3 p.m. Thursday with a 12-year-old child. Probation officers and Sheriff’s deputies contacted Noonan and searched her vehicle. The press release states that unbeknownst to law enforcement, Noonan gave the child nearly an ounce of methamphetamine and numerous hypodermic needles to hide for her. The drugs and paraphernalia were discovered, and Jacqueline Noonan was arrested for investigation of felony child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance for sales, as well as her probation violation. She was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and is being held without bail. The child was taken into protective custody by Child and Family Services.
