A convicted felon was arrested in Yucca Valley for investigation into domestic assault.
On Tuesday (January 9), Eddie Gutierrez, 29, was contacted at 11:15 p.m. near Balsa and Hanford in Yucca Valley by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to Yucca Valley.
Gutierrez, who is a felon convicted for violent crimes, was arrested by deputies for suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or date and for violating post-release supervision. He is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center without bail. He is expected to be arraigned today on felony domestic assault charges with enhancements for causing great bodily injury.
The status of the victim in this incident was not immediately available.
