A convicted felon was arrested at Stater Bros in Yucca Valley for allegedly making criminal threats.
James Arch, 60, was contacted by County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to Yucca Valley at the Stater Bros East store on Monday (January 4) at approximately 10:30 a.m. Arch is a convicted felon with a history of violent crime. He was arrested at the location on suspicion of making threats with the intention to terrorize, and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
He is expected to be arraigned in county court this morning (February 7) for felony charges related to making threats that could result in death or great bodily injury, along with enhancements related to his prior convictions.
