Felon arrested for suspected weapon possession in Twentynine Palms

After being caught allegedly shoplifting at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Twentynine Palms, a man was arrested on suspicion of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.

On Tuesday night (October 29) before 10:30 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store on Twentynine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms for a call about shoplifting. They say that store employees identified the suspect as Dylan Medlin, 28.

Deputies say that they contacted Medlin, and he was found to be in possession of pepper spray. 

Dylan Medlin was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a weapon and theft and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
