A Yucca Valley man was arrested for investigation into being a convicted felon in possession of weapons and drugs.
The Morongo Basin Station Sheriff’s Station’s Multiple Enforcement team served a search warrant in the 56000 block of Luna Vista Lane in Yucca Valley on Thursday (October 5). Deputies say they found Javier Macias, a 56 year-old resident of Yucca Valley, with approximately $3000 in various denominations, two handguns, an AR-15 style rifle with a scope, magazines, ammunition and approximately one pound of methamphetamine. As a convicted felon, Macias is prohibited from possessing weapons.
Javier Macias was arrested for investigation into a number of weapons and drugs charges, and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail on $30,000 bail.
