A man was injured Saturday when he accidentally shot himself in the foot. According to a Sheriff’s report, the unidentified man, was at a friend’s house to buy a gun and was shooting it when he accidentally shot himself in the foot. The victim drove himself to Hi-Desert Medical Center where staff notified deputies of the shooting. According to the deputy, the victim was not allowed to own a gun because he is a convicted felon, and he knew he was not allowed to own a gun. The deputy picked up the firearm at the friend’s house.
