FEE-FREE DAY IN NATIONAL PARKS MONDAY

In honor of Martin Luther King Junior Day, all National Parks will waive entrance fees on Monday, January 18. Visitors will not have to pay the $20 per vehicle entrance price, although camping and reservation fees still apply. The National Park Service hopes residents take advantage of this  fee-free day to enjoy their park’s scenic hikes and views, and the desert, day or night. Prepare accordingly with a backpack, water, sunscreen, hat, and snacks. So pack up your family, bring a camera, and enjoy a free visit to your beautiful desert park.
