A Pioneertown woman was killed in a crash Saturday, September 28th. The Riverside County Coroner confirmed to Z107.7 today (October 4) that Stephanie Davison, 53, died after being transported to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. According to the Sheriff’s Department, Davison and a juvenile were in a car traveling Westbound on State Route 62 near Mantonya at the West end of Twentynine Palms at about 2:20 p.m. Witnesses said the driver was swerving into oncoming traffic when it collided with a second vehicle. Stephanie Davison suffered head and neck trauma and was taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. She died of her injuries later. The juvenile was taken by MBA to Hi-Desert Medical Center. No further information on the circumstances of the fatal crash were available to Z107.7 News.
