The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will meet via webinar tonight, February 1, to conduct a public hearing and discuss an official move of the city’s Farmers Market to a new location at Project Phoenix, 73551 Twentynine Palms Highway. The market will operate in the events area of Freedom Way, previously known as Yucca Avenue.
The market, featuring vendors of produce, crafts, drinks, and hot foods, happens every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Previously, the market was located at the northeast corner of Twentynine Palms Highway and Desert Queen Avenue, at Bucklin Park and the adjoining public parking area.
The meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. and attendees must register beforehand. After registering, attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting.
