This week’s family film at the Yucca Valley library: the live-action adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast.” Belle, a bright and independent young woman, is taken prisoner by a beast in its castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff, looking beyond the beast's exterior and into the kind heart and soul of the true prince within.
