The Twentynine Palms Recreation Department will present a family bike ride and bicycle safety rodeo as part of the third annual Park-2-Park Bike Ride on Saturday, April 28. Here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman with the details…
For cyclists who aren’t quite ready to take on the 54-mile route at the third annual Park-2-Park bike ride, the event will also feature an easier seven-and-a-half mile family bike ride through Twentynine Palms. The event will also feature a bicycle safety rodeo, a hands-on lesson and obstacle course that teaches children to safely ride a bicycle on the streets. The events will take place on Saturday, April 28, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning at Knott’s Sky Park in Twentynine Palms.
