Explore mapmaking at the Creative Cafe this Wednesday (4/1)

The Creative Cafe returns this week with a focus on mapmaking. The Creative Cafe is a weekly drop-in art session hosted by local artist Jillian Sandell. She will bring examples of maps in art, and creative ways to draw maps and lead a collaborative map-making activity. The Creative Cafe is open to all ages and skill levels, and donations are accepted on a sliding scale.

Wednesday’s session runs from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Food For Thought Cafe in the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. Reservations are not required but donations between $5 and $20 are suggested. Supplies will be provided.
