EXPECT NOISE FROM MARINE BASE AS EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE IS DISPOSED

They call it the sound of freedom. Residents around the Morongo Basin can expect some louder-than-usual noise Wednesday, April 22, as Marines training in explosive ordnance disposal will detonate bombs and other explosive devices. Ammunition technician Marines will be taking part in their annual Emergency Destruction Training on board the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center. The base has set up a website to report noise from the exercise.
