Morongo Basin residents are hearing more noise than usual from the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms and will for the next three weeks. The Marine Corps is conducting a 29-day integrated training exercise called ITX 2-19. The exercise will conduct battalion-size, live-fire maneuvers and will incorporate combat support, combat service support, and aviation units.
