The newest exhibition for Gallery 62 Art Gallery in downtown Joshua Tree opens Friday, February 1. The show, entitled “Surfaces,” explores the many layered textures of meaning and technique in art. It features paintings, wood, paper, metal, and more. An artists’ reception is set for Saturday, February 9, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Fridays from noon to 3 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sundays from noon to 3 p.m., and by appointment. The show will be on display through February 24.
