After four years at the Mojave Desert Land Trust, Danielle Segura is resigning her position as executive director to accept a new role as the
vice-president and chief development officer of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. While at the MDLT, Segura was instrumental in acquiring and
preserving more than 22,000 acres of desert land. She also initiated the Mojave Desert native plant nursery and conservation seed bank and helped secure the MDLT’s Land Trust Alliance accreditation. An interim executive director will be appointed as the MDLT seeks a permanent replacement for the position.
