The top five winners at yesterday’s 4 Wheel Parts race at the King of the Hammers event yesterday qualified to race in the 2016 Nitto King of the Hammers race Saturday. They are: Raul Gomez, JP Gomez, Andrew McLaughlin, Casey Currie, and Pete Antunac. Coming up at the King of the Hammers tomorrow is the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge Race, starting at 8 a.m. A Raceline volunteer dinner presented by Extreme Wheelers 4 Christ is set for 6 p.m. Up to 35,000 people are expected to fill Hammertown, the temporary village out in the Johnson Valley Off Highway Vehicle Recreation Area, north of Yucca Valley.
