Entries are now being accepted for the 65th annual Grubstake Days parade, set to take place Saturday, May 23. This year’s theme is “Patriotic Parade: Celebrating the Past, Present and Future.” The grand marshal will be the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center. The parade begins at 10 a.m. The parade route will be on Highway 62 from Inca Trail to Sage Avenue. The route is 1.6 miles long. Walking entries are encouraged to apply. Youth and non-profit group entry parade fees are $25; all others are $40. Entry forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Yucca Valley, or by calling 760-365-6323.
