As part of its annual meeting Saturday, the Morongo Basin Conservation Association will hold a symposium on community choice aggregation, or CCA. CCAs allow local governments to buy power on behalf of their residents. Three speakers will give presentations on rooftop solar and successful CCAs in other California cities and counties. The Morongo Basin Conservation Association’s annual meeting and local energy symposium will be held Saturday, January 23, in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
