Employees at Hi-Desert Medical Center will be joining 10 other Tenet Healthcare hospitals in California in picketing their facilities to demand improvements to health and safety conditions at their hospitals. Employees say they are afraid they can be exposed to COVID-19 at work, and are asking for more personal protective equipment, staffing, and other improvements to health and safety at the hospitals. Hi-Desert Medical Center employees will picket from 11 a.m. to noon.
