Following the mass resignation last week of seven of the nine board members of the Community Health Center’s governing board, the Morongo Basin Healthcare District—which appoints the governing board members—will hold a special closed session meeting at 5:30 p.m. today. The sole item on the agenda is listed as “trade secrets.” The former chair of the governing board told Z107.7 News that in the past, the board of directors listed “trade secrets” as an agenda item when the topic under discussion was about the governing board operations. Tonight’s meeting will be held at the District offices, 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 200, Yucca Valley.
