Firefighters have been able to hold the perimeter of the Elk Fire at around 431 acres, with 107 acres of park land burned. The fire is 75% contained, and firefighters are continuing to work with the goal of full suppression.
The area around the Elk Fire remains closed, but there are no other closures in the park.
