With all precincts reporting, fewer than 1,000 voters in Flamingo Heights, Landers and Morongo Valley went to the polls for yesterday’s elections. Their votes will be added to provisional and mail-in ballots for final, certified results. As it stands for the two open board seats at the Bighorn Desert View Water Agency, unofficial results show incumbents Michael McBride and Larry Coulombe—with 45 percent and 36 percent, respectively—will retain their board positions. And in Morongo Valley, unofficial results indicate the two open seats on the Community Services District board of directors appear to be easy wins for Matthew Campos with 39 percent and incumbent Johnny Tolbert with 34 percent. According the County Registrar of Voters, the certified official election results will be posted at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 9.
