Kids will have fun baking at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum tomorrow. Reporter Caitlin Logan heats up the oven…
The Hi-Desert Nature Museum is hosting the next edition of Kids Ed-Ventures this Saturday, November 15, at 10:00 a.m., showcasing the wonderful world of baking. Just in time for the holidays, children will be introduced to the science of baking cookies. Everything from weighing the ingredients, to mixing, kneading, cutting, baking, decorating and cleaning up will be taught. This educational experience is intended for children six years of age or older and must be healthy to work around food products. Participants are asked to bring their own apron, and a cookie tin. There is no cost for this event, but space is limited. Pre-register by calling the Hi-Desert Nature Museum at 760-369-7212 or visit the Museum’s website at www.hidesertnaturemuseum.org.
