The Town of Yucca Valley will present its annual Easter egg hunt event on Saturday, March 31, at the Yucca Valley Community Center softball field. All children 8 years old and under can participate, with a separate hunt area for each age group. Parents may help toddlers in the Li’l Hoppers Zone. The free event will begin at 9 a.m., but early arrival is encouraged. In addition, there will be two contests with special prizes. The first 200 participants will receive a free basket to collect their eggs. The Easter Bunny will also be available for photos, so bring your camera.
The Twentynine Palms Fire Department and the county Fire Explorers will host an Easter egg hunt at Luckie Park on Sunday, April 1, starting at 1
p.m. Bring your own basket to the baseball field. All ages are welcome.
The Joshua Tree Park and Rec Department will hold its 51st annual egg hunt Saturday, March 31. There will be a pancake breakfast for $3, prize eggs, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Participants are urged to arrive at 8:30 a.m. and the hunt begins promptly at 9 a.m. For more information, call 760-366-8415.
The Joshua Tree Library will hold an Easter eggs-travaganza at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31. The library will have a holiday-themed story time,
crafts, and a cake walk. Children who check out 15 items will receive a special rubber duck and have a chance to win a special Easter basket or Lego set.
The Church on the Hill in Joshua Tree will hold an Easter candy hunt Saturday, March 31, at 1 p.m. The free event is open to toddlers through 12 years old. In addition to the candy hunt, there will be a bounce house. Children should bring their own basket. The church is located at 6088 Sunset Road in Joshua Tree.
