EARLY VOTING SITES OPEN TOMORROW

Morongo Basin residents have been able to mail in their ballots or drop them off for early voting at the Yucca Valley Town Hall. More than 73,000 county residents have taken advantage of early voting in the past three weeks. As of Tuesday, October 30, voters will be able to vote early in person in the Morongo Basin. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, for early voting at the Elks Lodge on Yucca Trail in Yucca Valley. Residents can also make the trek to Apple Valley, Lake Arrowhead, Montclair, and Victorville to vote early. Voters must complete and sign a voter registration application at the Registrar of Voters office or any early voting site up until election day. Voters will then be given a provisional ballot to cast. The hours at the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge, 55946 Yucca Trail, are 10 to 6, Tuesday through Saturday, October 30 through November 2, and Monday, November 5. On election day, November 6, the polls and the early voting site will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
