Just before 2:30AM on Easter Sunday, March 31st Sheriff’s dispatch received a call about an automobile that had hit a garage in the 73000 block of Sun Valley Dr. in Twentynine Palms.
According to the Sheriff’s dispatch the driver – identified as 27 year old Robert Robles – admitted to drinking two tall cans of Malt Liquor and driving when he crashed into the garage of the residence. Deputies say he blew double the legal limit and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail. Robles was denied bail due to a being on probation for a previous felony conviction for stalking.
Robert Robles was arrested for driving under the influence and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center.
