DUNK THE SUPERINTENDANT AT THE ROTARY CARNIVAL FRIDAY

Public officials are used to being accused of being “all wet.” The Superintendent of Schools is getting ahead of the accusation, and is being joined by at least one other elected official…
Morongo Unified School District Superintendent Tom Baumgarten will be donating his time–and body–to be soaked by anyone with a strong throwing arm during the upcoming carnival at Luckie Park. Baumgarten will be in the dunk tank from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27. All proceeds gathered from this fun-filled event will go to the Twentynine Palms Rotary Club. Baumgarten challenged other public figures to join him on the brink. Twentynine Palms City Council member and Mayor Pro-Tem Dan Mintz has answered the call. The Rotary Club supports many local community events for students as well as schools. Please come out and Dunk the District Superintendent this Friday evening at Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms.
