DUI DRIVER KNOCKS DOWN UTILITY POLE IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

The driver of a car that knocked down a power pole in Twentynine Palms Saturday morning was arrested for driving under the influence. Deputies responded to Lear and the Highway at 3:08 a.m. to find the pole down and a car with damage sitting in the middle of the road.
